How is Obstructive Sleep Apnea treated?

OSA can be treated in several ways. It is best to consult your doctor before taking in any medicine or before undergoing any OSA treatments.

OSA can be reduced by weight reduction, as most people who are obese are prone to OSA. Other treatments include positive pressure therapy and positional therapy. CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) is one of the most common non-surgical options for OSA treatment. Other individuals who suffer from OSA have resorted to surgery and intake of oral medication. Dental implants may also offer relief from airway blockages.
